Miss Camille began Oakwood Ballet in 1996 to focus on teaching young children the joy of dance. Since then she has been enthusiastically serving the families of Oakwood where she lives with husband Terry; they have two grown daughters. She continues her professional association with American Ballet Theatre by serving as Examiner in all levels of the National Training Curriculum. Additionally, she continues to be a partner teacher of Project Plie, an initiative began by American Ballet Theatre in 2014 to develop young dancers of diverse ethnic backgrounds.
Oakwood Ballet is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 9 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.
